TUITION AND FUNDING

Network Masters in International Cooperation: King Juan Carlos University (Madrid, Spain) - Universidad de Guadalajara (Guadalajara, Mexico) - University of San Martín (Buenos Aires, Argentina):

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Master in International Cooperation and Development in Latin America will take place between October 2008 and June 2009 (9 months) in classes from Monday to Friday in the afternoon.
Classes are taught in the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the URJC Vicálvaro Campus, Madrid - (Vicálvaro Metro Line 9).
The general requirements for access and qualification are:
Attendance at least 80% of classes
Of an examination of the basic content and performance of work for each academic module
The completion of a vocational training course for the Master (minimum 150 hours)

CONTENT OF THE MASTER - (630 hours):
The content of the Masters is divided into the following thematic modules, the period of professional practice and research:
Module preliminary analysis tools
(25 hours, 2.5 credits)
- Introduction and basic concepts in economics.
- Tools and statistical analysis.
- Methods of Social Research. Research projects.
Module I: Dimensions of Development
(175 hours: 17.5 credits)
Part I: The political dimension of development
- Political ideologies in contemporary Latin America.
- Modern Theories of Democracy: definitions, criteria and paradoxes of democratic government. Transitional consolidation of democracy, governance and quality of democracy in Latin America.
- Cooperation and Governance in Latin America. Crisis of governance and state
PRESENTATION
This master aims to provide students an overview of socio-economic and political situation of international trade, to provide analysis of the particularities of different international environment of business.
It will analyze and examine in depth the international market and the steps to follow in the pursuit and capture of countries which provide business opportunities strategizing trade policies. Furthermore, analyzing the importance for the Spanish economy and its enterprises to international trade flows and investment into the so-called emerging markets.
The participant will learn:
• The techniques, tools and skills necessary to lead an international company.
• The commercial structures and distribution channels

Graduate Profile
The Masters aims to train professionals specialized in the management of international trade relations and create at the university level study groups, research and production of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
The race aims to give participants all the tools and instruments needed to develop diagnostic of the situation, which includes actions related to international trade and management to design proposals that successfully completed the goals that organizations, both public sector and private sector, are in the area of international relations.
