Global and International Studies Minor (21-27 cr)
A. Core Requirements (6 cr)
GLS 200 – Introduction to Global Issues
Select one course from the following:
GLS 300 – Issues in the Global Economy
GLS 301 – Issues in Global Culture
B. Elective Requirements (15 cr)
Five courses, under advisement, from one or two concentrations: Global Politics and Governance; Global Culture; Area Studies (African Studies, Asian Studies; Contemporary European Studies; Latin American Studies). At least three courses must be at the 300 level or above. Courses must be taken in at least two different departments. Students may count up to three credit hours of internship credit toward the minor.
C. Cognate Requirements (0-6 cr)
Intermediate (202) level competency in a foreign language
D. Recommended study abroad
