The International School was established in 2001 as an independent educational department in Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. The school offers a carefully designed program leading to a baccalaureate degree from JUFE.
During their four years study, from their second year, students could choose from a variety of foreign universities to further their studies as visting students for one year or two. Credits earned from foreign universities are transferable to the JUFE degree. Those who successfully meet the graduation criteria can be awarded a Bachelor’s degre of Economics from JiangxiUniversity of Finance and Economics.
Students’s enthusiasm of applying for our program was unexpectedly high and 155 students were accepted in 2002. After one-year practice and exploration, our program operates more smoothly and continues developing on the basis of successful experience. In the session 2003-2004, the International School expanded its scale of enrolment. Correspondingly, the scale of enrolment increased to 233 students. Until now, we have established co-operations with a large number of foreign universities across the world. Webster University, University of Southampton, Brunel University, Arizona State University, University of Hawaii, UBC commerce and Vaacan Yllopisto at various levels. We cooperate with Webster University in the field of business administration and with University of Southampton in the field of banking & international finance, econometrics, financial management, international economics & trade and international accounting.
