International Business
International Business is the field of study that focuses on business activities that cross national boundaries. It includes exports and imports, traditional international trade discussions, and direct foreign investment. International banking, transfer of technology, exchange rates, international law, and global business strategies are explored. Problems facing decision-makers in the international environment and their effects on domestic businesses are studied, as well as how intercultural business agreements are established. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business.

Good knowledges of English is required. Competitive grade is calculated in the following way: general average grade of study results, calculated on the basis of grades from diploma annex, average mark of final examinations or mark of a final degree project, interview assessment, work experiencex0,01.

Learning outcomes and aims of the programme: To prepare qualified and highly skilled middle and top management CEO’s- Financiers with the wider spectrum of knowledge and practical competences in an international finance field and enable graduates to solve managerial and analytical tasks locally and in international business companies and institutions.

Competences developed: Multinational Business Finance programme graduates are an able to tackle managerial issues such as:currency risk management, economic -financial reasoning of direct foreign investment and international business funding operations.

Access to further studies: May continue doctoral studies

Professional status: Graduate may work within various international company departments in a middle or top management positions, which require knowledge of international business finance.

Final Degree Project or/and Qualification Examinations: Studies are completed with a final degree Project.

Examination and assessment regulations: The main form of evaluation is an examination. However, courses units may be evaluated by the pass/fail evaluation as well. Every course unit is concluded with either a written or written-oral examination or pass/fail evaluation. Student’s knowledge and general performance during the exam are evaluated using grading scale from 1(very poor) to 10(excellent), or by pass or fail evaluation in the cases when pass/fail evaluation is foreseen as a final evaluation of the course unit.
