Program overview

Graduates of the eight-course Graduate Diploma in International Business have undertaken skill-focused programs of study and practical work to develop their professional understanding and problem-solving abilities. The Graduate Diploma builds on the four-course Graduate Certificate in International Business and articulates into the Master of International Business.
Admission requirements

An undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised higher education institution is the minimum requirement for entering the Graduate Diploma of International Business program. No work experience is required.

Applications are also invited from candidates who do not have an undergraduate degree. These applications will receive special consideration from the Dean of Business, who has the discretion to waive the educational requirement if it is considered the candidate is likely to be successful at postgraduate study and would benefit from the program.

Applicants whose first language is other than English must demonstrate an appropriate level of English proficiency by providing evidence of one of the required qualifications.

The Program

Concordia University School of Business and Legal Studies offers a combined Bachelor of Science in Business and Master of Business Administration degree program. It is now possible for you to complete the requirements for these two degrees in four years.

The Requirements

We are offering this opportunity to a select group of outstanding first year Business Majors who have maintained a high school grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have scored 30 or higher on the ACT examination or 1200 on the SAT examination. The course work is heavy requiring 18 credits per semester, enrollment in 1 Winterim and the completion of a related internship. Students in the program must maintain a 3.5 GPA in each semester to continue in the program. If you decide to accept the challenge of this dual degree program we can assure you that your experience will be academically and professionally rewarding.

The Benefits

The tuition for this program will be the same as our regular undergraduate fees. By enrolling in the program you will be completing 5 years of course work for the price of 4 years of tuition. This program will also meet the educational requirement of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as other career fields. You will be able to offer a perspective employer the professionally recognized Master of Business Administration degree.
