The master’s degree in International Finance aims to prepare young graduates with special training and a strong orientation in international financial.
For students who have never dealt with economic and financial matters before, and choose to attend the course of International Finance, the ESE has prepared introductory modules to the foundations of these products aimed at the technical basis for future studies.
The courses are in English in all locations (both in Italy and abroad) and are offered in Italian (the first year) at the headquarters of Lucca.
The third year allows students to specialize in the field of interest.

The program of the third and final year, all conducted in English by international teachers, offers the possibility of focusing on a specific theme, be it fashion, sports, cultural or other goods.
The studies of the past year include a more sophisticated methods and strategies of business and the intellectual challenge is growing with the preparation of the thesis, a highly individual and requires a ‘research activities, capacity for analysis of data, synthesis and effective presentation.
After following the broad introduction to business and management in the first stage, plus two optional modules, you will take core specialist modules in each of Stages Two and Three. These modules will focus on international practice. A key feature of the degree is the emphasis placed on setting the broad management disciplines within an international setting, whereas many “International Business” degrees focus mainly on economics.
You will choose your remaining non-core modules from the remaining management modules.
Subject to satisfactory performance, you can transfer into or out of the International Business and Management degree at the end of the first year from or to the Business and Management Studies degree, the Accounting and Finance degree, the Marketing degree or the Human Resource Management degree if your preferences change, subject to satisfactory performance.

The BSc in International Business and Management enables you to gain an insight into the field of business and management set firmly in an international context. After following the broad introduction to business and management in the first year, plus two optional modules, you will take a number of core specialist modules in the second and final years. These modules will focus on international practice.
A key feature of the degree is the emphasis on setting the broad management disciplines in an international setting, in contrast to many “international business” degrees that focus mainly on economics.
With businesses trading across borders to an extent not previously seen, an understanding of some of the problems encountered, together with possible solutions, will help you to develop a deep understanding of how businesses operate. There is a growing demand for managers who have a global perspective, and this course equips you with a number of skills that should make you attractive to a range of employers, particularly multinational enterprises.
