Combined Honours International Development Studies
A minimum of 240 UCAS points, of which 200 points must be obtained from GCE A Levels, including a grade C in one subject. The remaining points may be achieved from GCE AS Levels, or from Level 3 Key Skills
BTEC National Diploma: merit/distinction profile
Irish Highers/Scottish Highers: B in 4 subjects
International Baccalaureate: 24 points
QAA approved Access course, Open College Units or Open University Credits.

Remarks:
1. Undergraduate students are required to take Service Education courses (0 credits/4 hours), which are implemented in two
semesters in Year I.
2. Undergraduate students are required to take 16-24 credits every semester for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd academic years and
9-24 credits every semester for the 4th academic year.
3. Minimum credits required for graduation: 130 credits with 94 requsite credits Elective credits: 36 credits
with some pre-approved inter-institution elective credits.
4. Approved inter-institution elective credits: 12 credits. And inter-college elective credits 6 credits.
5. Three modules for elective credits are as follows.
Module A-International marketing and market promotion
Module B-International trade and logstics
Module C-International finance and monetary
6. The students of Dept. of IB should choose one major module, and another two modules are mirrors from above
three modules. Students must pass at least 12 credits on major module, and 5 credits each on other two mirror modules.
7. The courses are not on the list above table can be counted as modules elective
credits if approved by members of course planning committees.
8. Any elective courses of inter-institution or inter-college must be approved by dept. of IB
9. Approved skill’s license is required for gradation.
