Master of International Management in International Business at Schiller International University

The MIM program has been designed to prepare students who have already completed a course of study in a non-business field specifically for positions in international management. The 36-semester-credit program leading to the MIM degree may be completed during one academic-year (consisting of two semesters) at the London, Heidelberg and Florida Campuses. The course work, spanning a variety of topics in business administration and economics, qualifies students for a broad range of careers in business administration, public relations and development.

Admission:

The Master of International Management program is open to qualified applicants who have earned a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. No particular field of undergraduate specialization is required for admission to the program, but a year of undergraduate mathematics is strongly advised.

Graduation Requirements:
In addition to the graduation requirements for all graduate students (see “Graduate Academic Regulations”) candidates for the Master of International Management degree must complete the following requirements:
A minimum of 36 semester credits (12 courses) at the graduate level, composed of the courses listed in the download link below, graduate level electives with appropriate prerequisites or acceptable substitutes approved by the Program Advisor.
A final comprehensive examination or, subject to the decision of the Program Advisor, a thesis requiring a formal oral defense in lieu of the comprehensive examination. The elective thesis is in addition to the 36 credit hour requirement.

The Associate of Science degree in International Business program is an exciting opportunity for those individuals wishing to meet this important demand.

The degree program instills a solid foundation in international business knowledge and practices. Candidates for the AS degree take courses in English, economics, science, mathematics, foreign languages and business administration.

General Requirements
Students must earn a minimum of 62 semester credits including the Core Courses listed below.
No more than 2 credits in physical education may be included in the 62 credit requirement.
A cumulative grade point average of 2.00 (C) or above must be earned.
The final 33 creditsmust be completed in residence at Schiller International University.
Completion of at least the intermediate level of one foreign language is required.
