Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of demonstrated competence through related work and/ or educational experience.

In some cases, applicants may be requested to submit a résumé, which includes details of related work experience, and a cover letter, which summarizes career goals and reasons for wanting to take this program. Postsecondary transcripts, indicating courses completed to date, must be submitted at the time of application.

This degree programme is designed for people who want to study side by side with a full-time job. Studies are conducted during evenings and weekends and through multiform studies.

The programme provides an excellent chance to enhance your career by deepening your international competences. You can develop your management, leadership as well as strategic planning skills. The studies involve both contact lessons as well as distance learning. The contact lessons are generally once a month on Friday evenings and Saturdays. Consequently the programme suits particularly well those who already have busy careers.

You can apply, if you are opistomerkonomi, tradenomi, tuotantotalouden insinööri, tuotantotalouden insinööri (AMK), or you have a comparable foreign degree (e.g. HND in business and administration).

Required work experience: Two years of work experience after turning 18. All work experience is considered relevant. All applicants eligible to apply will be invited to entrance examination.

A minimum second-class honours degree in business or an area related to your specialisation
An honours Higher Diploma in Business Studies
A primary degree with a minimum of three years’ work experience in the field of specialisation
If English is not your native language, unless you have done your primary degree through English, an English language qualification is required (eg: IELTS/TOEFL).
IELTS – an overall score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6 in each section.

A good Bachelor degree from a university approved by the Academic Board.

For applicants whose medium of instruction at tertiary level is non-English, a TOEFL score is required. Test dates must be within 2 years or less from the date of your application. IELTS can also be used in place of TOEFL.

For applicants to The Nanyang MBA (International Studies), a good GMAT score is also required

If you are an existing final year undergraduate, you may apply for admission with photocopy of provisional degree certificate and / or yearly examination results to date. Otherwise you will not be admitted to the Masters programme. If you are unable to produce your original degree certificate in time, you need to give us an original letter issued by the home university certifying that all requirements for the bachelor degree have been completed.
